ST. CLOUD - Chances are good you've heard something about the bedbug. The invasive, notorious  little  insect has made a comeback in recent years.

Today, area health, business and hospitality professionals are at St. Cloud City Hall, learning from University of Minnesota scientists about the ways to detect and eliminate the parasite.

Dr. Steven Kells is an Entomology Professor at the U of M, and a keynote speaker at the "Let's Beat The Bug" Informational day.

He says they tend to stay in dark places near beds and other sleepiing areas - and you may not even know they're there.

Dr. Kells said the bedbug has returned after an over 40 year hiatus from the public eye, though the exact reason is still speculative.
