LONG PRAIRIE (AP) — A former Browerville High School student has admitted he was among athletes who sexually assaulted teammates.

Nineteen-year-old Seth Kellen pleaded guilty Monday in Todd County court to felony fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

As part of Kellen's plea, two counts filed in juvenile court were dismissed.

Kellen is expected to be given a 30-day jail term and be put on probation for 10 years. County Attorney Chuck Rasmussen says if Kellen doesn't violate probation, the felony case will be dismissed.

In November, co-defendant Connor Burns entered a plea agreement that will dismiss charges against him if he has no similar offenses during five years probation.

Attorneys for Kellen and Burns argued the acts weren't sexual but were part of a culture of hazing at the school.
