Ex-Boyfriend Charged in Fatal St. Paul Stabbing
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The former boyfriend of a woman fatally stabbed in St. Paul is charged with her murder.
Forty-nine-year-old Kevin Scott Evans is expected to appear in Ramsey County court Wednesday afternoon on a second-degree murder charge.
Thirty-eight-year-old Miranda Schunk was found stabbed multiple times at an apartment building Sunday night.
Court records show Evans has a history of violence and Schunk had gotten a protection order prohibiting him from contacting her.
Evans is on probation for a 1986 murder and also has convictions for assault and robbery. He was arrested at the Minneapolis Public Library Monday.
