The Arc Midstate Second Annual Freaky 5K will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
It's a fun, Halloween themed family friendly event which will take place in Whitney Park. It kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with 1 Mile Run/Walk. At 9 a.m. there will be a timed 5K Run/Walk and at 9:45 a.m., a 1K Kids Fun Run.
There will be awards for the top male and female finishers as well as the best adult and kid costumes.
Registration opens inside the Whitney Recreation Center at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 8:30 a.m. Prior to September 14th, the cost to register for the 5K is $20, the 1 mile is $10 and the kid's 1K is $10. After that, the cost goes up by $5 for each race. Online registration is also available.
