Teen Crash Avoidance and Traffic Safety Day

The MN HWY Safety and Research Center is teaming up with the Stearns Benton Toward Zero Death (TZD) coalition and local public safety agencies in an effort to reduce serious injury and fatal crash on our roadways.
The day will feature two half day session of advanced driver training on a closed course for teen drivers. This training targets specific factors that places teen drivers at risk on our roads and requires advance registration. Parents will gain valuable resources and have a chance to observe their young drivers in action.
TZD representatives will be on hand to discuss crash reduction efforts on MN HWY 23 from Richmond to Milaca. Public safety agencies, emergency response personnel, vehicles and aircraft will be on hand providing demonstration, information and photo ops between 11 AM and 2 PM.
