One of the premiere outdoor events in central Minnesota will return for its fifth consecutive year on Saturday, August 10, at Stearns County’s Mississippi River Park.
Take a Day OFF (Outdoor Family Fun) on the Mississippi River allows families from Stearns and Benton counties to experience a variety of outdoor recreational and nature educational activities. It includes things such as canoeing, fishing, archery and fun projects for kids.
There will be a bus trip from Stearns County to Mississippi Park to Bend in the River Regional Park. It will take participants on a historical site tour along with two special canoe paddles. There will also be a special presentation by the Minnesota Zoo.
