Shannon O’Neil Benefit

The Great Blue Heron is hosting a benefit for Shannon O'Neil on Saturday, December 7, 2013.

On October 29, Shannon was in a terrible automobile accident.  He was ejected from the vehicle and sustained a traumatic brain injury.  He has been hospitalized since and has long road to recovery.

Unfortunately, Shannon's family doesn't live around here and they are working to get everything in order for his post-hospital care.  Some of those expenses will not be covered by insurance.

Proceeds from the benefit will go toward Shannon's care.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.  There will be a buffet of appetizers from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a silent auction from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The silent auction will include golf packages and equipment, University of Minnesota gear and much more.
