18^th Annual Sauk Centre Elementary PTA Family Fun Day. This PTA sponsored fundraiser will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Sauk Centre Senior High Gymnasium.

PTA Family Fun Day is a day for children and their parents from our community and surrounding communities to come together to play games, eat, and have fun! We will also be having a silent auction again this year. In the past we have been extremely fortunate to have businesses, families, elementary classes, and faculty donate gift baskets or other items to the auction. We are asking if your organization would be willing to donate a basket or item for our silent auction or make a monetary donation.

All proceeds raised in the past have been used to directly benefit our elementary school. Some of the items we have purchased in the past include computers for the computer lab, iPads, Chromebooks and Starboards (Interactive Whiteboards) for classrooms, and new playground equipment. In the past we have given a monetary gift directly to each classroom in hopes that the teachers will be able to bring back some of the extras lost due to school budget cuts. Each year we sponsor an artist-in-residence program to encourage interest in the cultural arts. We also bring a children’s theatre company to the community each year to work with local children in a week long residency.

The Sauk Centre Elementary PTA prides itself on helping with specific needs of the school when no other funding is available. Our ability to continue this funding is dependent on community support. With your support we can have a positive influence on our students for many years to come.
