A Day of Outdoor Family Fun Awaits You and Your Family
On Saturday, July 30th a world of fun and adventure awaits you and your family on the Mississippi River. Put on your sunscreen, grab a bottle of water and share a day of “Outdoor Family Fun” on the Mississippi River!

Have fun getting re-connected to the natural world around us by taking part in this day long sampler of free outdoor recreational opportunities: Kids learn to cast and fish from shore, learn to paddle a canoe and travel down the Mississippi, ride a pontoon and watch DNR demonstrate fish survey (electrofishing) techniques, test your aim at the BB Gun Range, try your hand at archery, build a birdhouse and take it home, find out about the water in our world, take a nature walk…and more!

Saturday, July 30th will mark our eighth annual event. Our partnership with CentraCare Health Foundation is growing this year in addition to being a part of the Fit Kids Club Series with a 1K nature trail walk/run we will also have Project BrainSafe staff on site till 1 PM to properly fit bike helmets. So please bring your helmets so that.
