Non-Profit Hosts Rays of Hope 5k Walk to Support The Angel of Hope
Sartell, MN, July 23, 2017
What Would Bri Do, Inc. will be hosting the 1st Annual Rays of Hope 5K Walk. This walk will start from the Angel of Hope in Sartell and will be packed with fun filled family activities at the new Sartell Community Center. The loss of a child or loved one is very difficult and no two people grieve the same way. The Angel of Hope Sculpture, which is nestled along the shores of Lake Francis in Sartell, is a place where individuals from Central Minnesota can come together to grieve the loss of their child or loved one. The walk will raise money to support the Candlelight Vigil that is held every December 6th. This year’s funds will also help with maintaining the Angel of Hope Garden.
1st Annual Rays of Hope 5K will be held on October 7, 2017
Registration will start at 8 am at the Sartell Community Center
Located at 850 19th Street South, Sartell, MN 56377
Family Activities will be held from 8:30 am - 10 am
Remembrance Ceremony will start at 10 am at the Angel of Hope
5K Walk will begin at 10:30 am
Rain or Shine – Indoor walking track will be used if it is raining
Adults $25 · Children 13-17 $10 · Children 12 & under free
Paid Registrations will include one t-shirt
Walkers will also be able to purchase a remembrance sign. Signs will have a photo of your loved one along with a memorial message that will be placed along the path the day of the walk. WWBD’s motto is “everyone is a child of someone” allowing a sign to be purchased for any of your loved ones such as a child, parent, sibling, parent, friend, etc… Walkers can register for the walk and purchase the remembrance signs on www.WWBDinc.org. A printable registration form is available at this site for those that prefer to mail in their registration.
