There will be a fundraiser dinner and silent auction for Joel Wolfram at Benton Station on Thursday, May 1, 2014.
In January a malignant tumor was discovered in Joel's chest wall and was later diagnosed as Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. He has been undergoing treatment in New York City. After four rounds of chemotherapy, the tumor has shrunk significantly. His parents and sister have been taking turns traveling to New York to be with him throughout the treatments.
The fundraiser will feature a spaghetti dinner, silent auction, May Day plant raffle, bake sale and music by the Mill Creek Irish Band and Pete Nelson.
Tickets are $8 in advance (at Atonement Lutheran Church in St. Cloud) or $10 at the door.
