Celebrate America! Veterans Day Concert Nov. 11
St. CLOUD, Minnesota — The St. Cloud State Wind Ensemble and Men’s Chorus will perform a Veterans Day Concert for the Central Minnesota community titled “Celebrate America! A Salute to Our Veterans” at 4 p.m. Nov. 11, in Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall.
This concert features patriotic music for wind band and men’s chorus including combined works spanning the Revolutionary war area through Vietnam. The program includes several patriotic classics and veterans will be recognized with an Armed Forces medley. The program was developed in partnership with the Veterans Resource Center at St. Cloud State.
Concert emcee will be the Honorable Dave Kleis, Air Force veteran and Mayor of St. Cloud.
Admission is free.
The St. Cloud State Wind Ensemble is a select group of 40 performers, mostly St. Cloud State music majors led by conductor Catharine Bushman. The St. Cloud State Men’s Chorus is an ensemble of 26 members led by conductor Hugh Givens.
