Artspace invites the public to a 10th anniversary celebration of the Artspace Franklin Arts Center (1001 Kingwood St., Brainerd, MN 56401), a former junior high school that Artspace transformed into a mixed-use arts hub. The lively arts community located in the building is collectively hosting this community event, underwritten by Brutger Equities, Inc., from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9. Free and open to the public, guests can tour several artist live/work studios, shop for local arts and crafts, view an exhibition at the on-site community gallery, and see live performances.
