MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Activists who protested the police shooting of Jamar Clark are planning a "week of action" to mark his death a year ago Tuesday.

The Twin Cities Coalition for Justice 4 Jamar will hold a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening in Minneapolis beginning at 5 p.m. The week began Sunday with a rally and march in north Minneapolis.

Last month, Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau said the two officers involved followed proper procedure in a confrontation that led to the fatal shooting of Clark last Nov. 15. His death set off protests that lasted several weeks, including an 18-day encampment around the area's police precinct.

A rally at the Hennepin County Government Center is planned for Friday with a community gathering Saturday at Harrison Park.
