Mayors’ Bicycle Ride To Kick Off Statewide “Bike Walk Week”

ST. CLOUD - Local mayors, politicians and enthusiastic bikers will gather together for the annual "Mayors' Bicycle Ride" in St. Cloud tomorrow.

The ride starts at 9 a.m. at St. Cloud City Hall, makes its way 5 miles over to River's Edge Park in Waite Park, and returns to City Hall. There is also an extended route for those who want to ride further.

Area figures signed on for the ride include Mayors Dave Kleis, Rick Schultz of St. Joseph and Tammy Konz of Kimball, and State Representatives King Banaian and Steve Gottwalt.

The ride kicks off Minnesota's "Bike Walk Week," which continues through June 12.
