Evelyn T. Molitor, 80, Rockville

September 27, 1934 - February 14, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville, MN for Evelyn Molitor, age 80, who died unexpectedly Saturday at her home.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the Church.

Evelyn was born in Rockville to Albert and Susan (Nieters) Karls. She married Harold Molitor on October 8, 1953 at St. James Parish in Jacobs Prairie, MN. Evelyn was owner / CEO for Molitor Flooring, a family business she and Harold started over 50 years ago. She was proud of her six sons that currently operate the business. Evelyn loved spending time with family, fishing, gardening, canning, trips to the casino, cooking, and baking. Her specialty was pecan pie. Evelyn was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Christian Women and The Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; children, Dave (Marlene), Joyce (Jim) Chan, Marv (Sue), Jerry (Mary), Janet (Daryl) Albers, Stan (Jeanne), Steve (Bonnie), and Kevin (Sherri); siblings, Alfred Karls, Veronica (Chuck) Gulan, Doreen (Clarence) Corrigan, Margaret Alvord, JoAnn (Mel) Schroeder, Lorraine (Brian) Alvord, and Jerome (Donna) Karls; sister-in-law, Victorine Nies; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren, and soon to be 3 more.

She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Paul Molitor, and Cressie Preusser.
