Eugene “Gene” G. Zellner, 94, Waite Park, MN, died peacefully at home on October 30, 2016.

Private interment services will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Gene was born in Waite Park, MN to Joseph and Theresa (Kaluza) Zellner. He married Ruth Evers on March 21, 1944. The couple lived in Waite Park their entire life.

Gene is survived by his wife, Ruth; sister, Dorothy Rader; brother, Joseph (Annella) Zellner; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Albert, Jerome, Ray and Marcus.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
