DENVER (AP) - Wide receiver Eric Decker has particular interest in the halftime show at the Denver Broncos' game against the New York Jets on Thursday night.

His girlfriend, country singer Jessie James, will perform at Sports Authority Field during the break.

Decker, who has seven touchdown catches this season, joked that he'd love to sneak out of the locker room to see her show. He's having a friend tape the performance instead.

One thing he won't do is emulate Buffalo receiver David Nelson, who caught a touchdown pass Sunday, then went all the way to the other end of the field to hand the ball to his girlfriend, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

James will be sitting in a luxury suite, so Decker won't be able to duplicate that gesture.

Decker is a Cold Spring native and a former ROCORI football standout.  He also played for the University of Minnesota Gophers.  He's quickly become one of the top receivers for the Denver Broncos.
