Emily A. (Abel) Johnson, 20, Houston, MN and formerly of St. Cloud

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Emily A. (Abel) Johnson, age 20, Houston, MN and formerly of St. Cloud, who passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at her home. Reverend Timothy Gapinski will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date.

Family and friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday at the Church. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Emily was born July 16, 1996 in St. Cloud to Jason Abel and Tanya Engles. After attending schools in St. Cloud, she attended Winona Technical College. She was currently working at the Mayo Clinic as a CNA. Emily enjoyed hiking, animals, and hanging out with her friends.

She is survived by her parents; brothers, Coda Johnson, Niel Johnson-Abel, and Ezra Engles; paternal grandparents, Bob (Nikki) Abel of St. Cloud and maternal grandmother, Deb Pince of Houston, MN; as well as extended family and friends.

Emily was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Phyl and Erv Eveslage, and John and Marie Abel.
