Emergency Alert System Now Available In Meeker County

LITCHFIELD - A community notification system is now available for residents of Meeker County. The Sheriff's Office says they've launched the new CodeRED system, which sends important alerts and time-sensitive messages.

The service is customized, allowing residents to choose which alerts they'd like to sign up for, and how they'd prefer to receive them: landline, cell phone, email, or text message.

The alerts can be specific to streets, neighborhoods, or regions.
