Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Elmer J. Eisenschenk, age 84, who died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital after a long battle with Parkinson’s. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.

Elmer was born in Collegeville Township to Peter and Frances (Weyland) Eisenschenk. He married Donna Feneis on June 6, 1951 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Luxemburg. Elmer was a lifelong farmer and an 18 year employee of Cold Spring Granite. He enjoyed ball games, traveling, and going to casinos. He was a member of St. Joseph Society, Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Boniface Parish. He most of all enjoyed his time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; children, Mari (Cecil) Louis, Michael (Sue), Tom (Marilyn), Mark (Jan Hommerding), John (Mary), Doris, Paul (Joan), Kevin (Christine), and Julie; sisters, Carol (Mike) McGuire, and Dolores (Steve) Menge; nephew, Russell Buyse; in-laws, Joe Feneis, and Virginia Feneis; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-granchildren with 2 on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepmother, Ann.
