Electrical Fire Causes Minor Damage to Meeker County Home

GREENLEAF TOWNSHIP -- Authorities responded to a small house fire in Meeker County Monday morning.

The incident happened just after 7:00 a.m. in the 19300 block of 573rd Avenue in Greenleaf Township.

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze says they received a call from the homeowner, 57-year-old Gordon Evenson, that the house was filling with smoke.

When fire crews arrived they found a small electrical fire in the attic of the home.

No one was hurt but the home did sustain minor damage from the fire.
