Election 2014: Kendall Elected to Fourth Term as Stearns County Attorney

ST. CLOUD -- Janelle Kendall has been elected to her fourth consecutive term as Stearns County Attorney, outlasting challenger Mark Hansen.

Kendall says the position of county attorney is an elected position to ensure they are accountable to the people of Stearns County. She says by being re-elected, it also affirms that residents approve of the work her office is doing.

However, Kendall says there's still more to do.  She says there are a number of projects underway including the mentor court and domestic violence court.  Kendall says they plan to start working on some initiatives with the St. Cloud VA Medical Center and area high schools.

Kendall won re-election with more than 62% of the vote.
