Election 2014: Heck, McMahon, Popp Elected in Benton County

FOLEY -- Benton County Chief Deputy Sheriff Troy Heck outlasted Pete Skwira to become the next sheriff.

Heck won election to the Office of Sheriff by a 52%-48% margin. He says he's looking forward to getting his administrative staff in place and hit the ground running.

Elsewhere in Benton County, Ed Popp won election to the open seat in the District 2 commissioner's race 62% to 38%.

District 3 incumbent Jim McMahon easily won re-election by more than 70%.
