Eileen C. Schraut, 84, Waite Park

June 17, 1931 - September 15, 2015

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids for Eileen C. Schraut, age 84, who died Tuesday at her home in Waite Park. Rev. Jerry Dalseth will officiate and burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.

Eileen was born June 17, 1931 in Sauk Rapids to Frederick & Pauline (Pilautz) Sumbs. She married Alvin Schraut on July 7, 1956 in Sauk Rapids. Eileen was a homemaker and lived in Waite Park all of her life. She was a member of Waite Park American Legion Post 428 Auxiliary and Sauk Rapids VFW Post 6992 Auxiliary. Eileen enjoyed gardening and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Randie, Gary (Mai), and Steve (Mary Kay) all of Waite Park; sisters, Rosemary Thometz of Moorhead, Dorine Heinen of Sauk Rapids; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alvin.
