A celebration of the life of Eileen Barthelemy, age 85 of St. Cloud, will be 3:00 PM, Monday, November 21 at the Life (First) Assembly of God in St. Cloud. There will be a visitation after 2:00 Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home.

Eileen was born in St. Cloud to Andrew and Genevieve (Buersken) Kirmeier. She grew up in St. Cloud and married Roger Barthelemy on July 26, 1952 in St. Mary’s Cathedral. Eileen briefly worked as a waitress at the Hub and then the Persian Supper Club. She spent her time raising her five children. Eileen's greatest pleasure besides her family was giving of her time and treasures. She blessed others with her gifts of time , food, bakery goods, especially her fabulous Artisan Breads and Scones. Eileen's hospitality was a gift to friends and family alike. Her door was always open for an unexpected. The greatest gift she gave her children was teaching them to give unselfishly to others. She loved playing Bridge but not as much as she loved spending time with her girlfriends until Alzheimer's would not allow it. She had been president of the Mrs. Jaycee's where she made many life long friends and volunteering at the St. Cloud Hospital. Her children want to give a special thanks to the nurses aids at Arbor Lake Senior Living Center in Maple Grove for loving and caring for our mom! She loved her church family at First Assembly of God.

Eileen is survived by her children, Linda (Ken) Thielen, St. Cloud; Steven (Jacki) Barthelemy, Royalton; Timothy (Debi) Barthelemy, Otsego; Joel (Shannon) Barthelemy, Scottsdale, AZ and Jenny (Marc) Grove, Rogers. She is also survived by her sister, Delphine Barthelemy, St. Cloud; brothers, Roger (Pat) Kirmeier, St. Cloud; Alvin (Pat) Kirmeier, St. Cloud; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Eillen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger on March 7, 2011, her sisters, Lorraine “Larry” Letourneau, Bernice “Putz” Noonan, Donna Netter, Jeanette Moir and brother, Ralph Kirmeier.
