Edward “Ed” H. Gorman, 55, St. Cloud

November 7, 1959 - July 11, 2015

Funeral Services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Lewis Lake Covenant Church in Olgilvie for Edward “Ed” Gorman, age 56, who passed away Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Bob DeYoung will officiate and burial will be at Langola Cemetery in Rice. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Ed was born on November 7, 1959 in Minneapolis, to Vern and Jean (Francis) Gorman. He married Elizabeth Begg on March 9, 2005 in Milaca. Ed was loving, generous, full of humor, sometimes stubborn, and always put others before himself. He enjoyed fishing, listening to Motown music, and being around people.

Survivors include his wife, Liz of St. Cloud; children, James Begg of St. Cloud, Edward Begg of St. Cloud, and Jean Gorman of St. Cloud; mother, Jean Butler of Tacoma, WA; brother, Antonio Gorman of Minneapolis; and sisters, Jean Hubbard of St. Paul, Marie Gorman of Madelia, and Jackie King of Tacoma, WA. Ed was preceded in death by his father.
