Eden Valley Woman Hits Tractor, Taken to Hospital For Injuries

MEEKER COUNTY - An Eden Valley woman was hurt in a two vehicle collision in Meeker County on Wednesday.

The crash happened just before 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of 632nd Avenue and Meeker Stearns Street in Manannah Township.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says a car driven by 84-year-old Elizabeth Reddie of Eden Valley was going east on Meeker Stearns Street, when she hit a tractor driven by 73-year-old Arthur Kuechle of rural Watkins. Kuechle was attempting to turn into a field approach at the time.

Reddie was taken to Paynesville Hospital for complaints of pain. Kuechle wasn't hurt. Reddie's car is a total loss and the tractor was heavily damaged.

Eden Valley Rescue, Watkins Ambulance and the State Patrol all helped the Meeker County Sheriff's Office at the scene.
