Eden Valley-Watkins Voters Reject Bond Referendum

EDEN VALLEY - Voters in the Eden Valley-Watkins school district rejected a $12 million bond referendum.

The vote held Tuesday had 595 people voting "no", and 309 people voting "yes".

If the referendum had passed, the school district was planning to use the money for infrastructure upgrades at the high school, add some athletic facilities, and security at the elementary schools.
