Earth Day Run, Mississippi Music Fest This Weekend

ST. CLOUD -- Two annual events at St. Cloud State University have been combined into one big event.  This weekend SCSU is hosting both the Earth Day Run and the Mississippi Music Fest.

The festivities begin at noon today (Friday) with the Health and Fitness Expo.  The 1K Youth Run is at 6:00 p.m. and the 5K is at 6:30 p.m.  Tomorrow's (Saturday) events include: the 20-mile Eco Challenge, the half-marathon relay, and the half-marathon all starting at 8:30 a.m.

The Mississippi Music Fest will start at 11:00 a.m. The bands will be playing as the runners cross the finish line, and will continue through the afternoon.
