Early St. Patrick’s Day Events Planned For This Weekend

UNDATED - St. Patrick's Day isn't until Monday, but there are a few things happening already this weekend, for those of you who want to get your Irish on.

The popular band Ring Of Kerry and the St. Paul Irish Dancers have two performances today (Friday) at the Paramount Theatre in downtown St. Cloud.  Show times are at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The annual Shamrock Shuffle will be run tomorrow (Saturday) in Sauk Rapids.  They have a 7K and a 10 mile race option.  You are encouraged to wear your St. Patty's Day gear, with prizes for the best dressed.  Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m., with the races starting at 10:00 a.m.

And the annual St. Patty's Day Parade will be held in Marty tomorrow (Saturday).  Line-up starts at noon, with the parade starting at 1:00 p.m. Holy Cross School in Pearl Lake will have a hamburger stand, with other events planned at the Pearl Lake Lodge.
