ST. CLOUD -- Voters can begin casting their absentee ballots early for the August 9th Primary Election starting tomorrow (Friday).

You can request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you or you can vote in-person at your local election office.

This is the first presidential-election year where you no longer need an excuse to vote absentee.

Absentee ballots must be mailed before the August 9th Primary. The last day to vote absentee in-person is August 8th.

To request an absentee ballot, go to www.mnvotes.org and use the online ballot application. Voters can request an absentee ballot even if they are not registered to vote.
