Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for Earl J. LaBore, 83 of Sauk Rapids who passed away peacefully at Country Manor in Sartell on Saturday. Rev. Ralf Zimmerman will officiate and burial will be at the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call two hours prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Earl was born on April 24, 1933 in White Bear Lake to Duesty and Melina (Tourville) LaBore. He was married to Rita Schiller on June 6, 1959 in Hastings. Earl served in our countries Navy during the Korean Conflict. Earl worked for Anderson Trucking until he retired in 1998. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. Next to his love Rita, he enjoyed woodworking, deer hunting, golfing, and growing tomatoes. He was very active in youth hockey and contributed to building the Arena East. Earl was a loving husband and father who walked strongly in his faith. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Rita of Sartell; children, Catherine (Richard) Henkemeyer of Sauk Rapids, Annette (Rick) Walsh of Duluth, Mary (Rick) Haakonson of Sauk Rapids, Jon of Seattle, WA, Joseph (Kristina) of Shoreline, WA, Steven of St. Paul, David (Jessica) of Duluth; Sibling, Rosella “Freck” Oaks of Pine River, 12 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 6 siblings.
