Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Earl F. Wagner, age 79 of Dassel, formerly of Alexandria. Earl passed away January 27 at the Lakeside Healthcare Center in Dassel. Reverend Glenn Krystosek will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. Louis Parish Cemetery in Paynesville. Visitation will take place after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville.

Earl was born January 5, 1937 in Alexandria MN to Bernard and Viola (Guenther) Wagner. Earl liked farming in his younger years. He also enjoyed shaking dice, playing cards, and scratch offs. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

Earl is survived by siblings Erma Moorman (Jim Kraemer) of Melrose, Donna (Rich) Kemper of Bloomington, Joan Wehlage of Coon Rapids, Annette (Carl) Stich of St. Joseph, Allen Wagner of Las Vegas, NV, Darrel Wagner (Roxene Cook) of Big Spring, NE, Donald (Diane) Wagner of St. Louis Park, Doris Herzog of Brooklyn Center, Myron (Rebecca) Wagner of Brighton, Colorado, Barb (Donald) Peterson of Coon Rapids, Dennis (Debbie) Wagner of Blaine and Dean (Cheri) Wagner of Blaine, Sharon (Tom) Lyons of Plymouth, Ron (Cheryl) Wagner of Hutchinson, Jim Wagner (Donna Swenson) of Atwater, Joyce (Wayne) Anderson of Cosmos, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bernard Jr. and Leo Wagner, brothers-in-law Raymond Wehlage and Loren Herzog, nephew Duane Wagner and niece Sue Wagner.
