Earl Corrigan, a proud Irishman, was born on Feb. 18, 1929 in St. George Township, Benton County to the late Bert and Veronica (Kornovich) Corrigan. He grew up in Foley and graduated from Foley High School with the class of 1948. Following graduation, he worked on road construction. Having a great love of the land, Earl began farming in 1951 and continued while also operating a gravel and excavating business. The Corrigan farm was designated a “Century Farm” in 2009. Earl enjoyed attending auctions, hunting, sports, reading and being with family and friends. He had a strong faith and was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm where he was an usher and a life member of the Knights of Columbus St. Lawrence Council #12519. He also belonged to several farm organizations.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Blattner of Sauk Rapids, Virginia Jacobs of St. Cloud, Rita Janson of Sauk Rapids, Ione Brown of Sartell and Elizabeth (Floyd) Udermann of Mounds View; and many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Loyal Jacobs, Bernard Janson, Harold Blattner and Raymond Brown; his little angel niece, Janet Jacobs; and nephews, Jeffrey Jacobs, Robert Jacobs and Joseph Blattner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
