ST. CLOUD - A dump truck driver from St. Cloud was taken to the hospital Monday morning after his truck was hit by a train.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 7:45 a.m. along Highway 10, as the truck was crossing the railroad tracks on 32nd Street Southeast.

The truck then hit a power pole, causing the power lines to fall onto the eastbound lanes of Highway 10.

Two additional semi trucks and three other vehicles were damaged from debris.

The dump truck driver is 26-year-old Allen Keene of St. Cloud. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries. No one else was hurt.

The railroad crossing has a stop sign, but no lights or crossing gate.
