Duluth Finds Their Swing, Rox Fall to Huskies 10-4
DULUTH -- After taking game one of a home and home series with Duluth, the St. Cloud Rox couldn't get the job done last night (Friday) taking the 10-4 loss.
The Rox scored first thanks to a 2-run double by Reese Gregory to give the team an early 2-0 lead in the second.
St. Cloud would go on to score two more runs in the fifth before everything started going the Huskies way.
The Huskies turned a 4-2 deficit into a 10-4 lead and never looked back picking up the win.
Andrew Clemen was on the mound for St. Cloud going 5 inning, giving up 7 hits, 5 runs while striking out two.
The Rox and Huskies move to 3-3 in their season series.
St. Cloud will try to bounce back with a double header tonight against the second place Rochester Honkers in Rochester.
The teams will play the first game, which was a make-up game from June 16th, before playing their originally scheduled game after.
