The St. Cloud River Bats lost 3-2 at home to Duluth Tuesday night.  Duluth scored 2 runs in the 8th inning to break a 1-all tie.  St. Cloud scored a run in the 8th inning but Jeremy Banks strayed too far off 3rd base in the 9th and was tagged out to end the game.  J.R. Reynolds went 2-3 with 1 RBI and Korey Wacker was 1-4 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored for St. Cloud.

Jake Smith started the game and threw 4 1/3 innings with 5 hits and 1 unearned run allowed.  He didn't figure in the final decision.  Travis Unthank allowed 2 earned runs in 2 innings to take the loss.

The Bats are 10-15 and will host Willmar at 7:05 tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
