The Wild's mild winning streak ended Friday night at the Honda Center with a loss to Anaheim.

The Minnesota Wild fell at Anaheim by a final score of 3-2 on Friday night. The Wild trailed 3-0 after two periods and their spirited rally in the third period came up just a bit short.

Ryan Getzlaf and Teemu Selanne notched first period goals for the Ducks (15-3-1) to make the score 2-0 through one period. Matt Beleskey scored in the second for Anaheim for a 3-0 lead.

Wild forward Kyle Brodziak scored his second goal of the season at :29 of the third to make it 3-1, then Devin Setoguchi scored to cut the margin to one.

Despite a late power play that went 6-on-4 thanks to an empty Wild net, Minnesota (10-8-2) could not score to tie the game before the buzzer sounded.
