ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild have won five in a row after another stellar performance by goalie Devan Dubnyk in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Dubnyk has started between the pipes in the last nine games - in which, the Wild have gone 7-2.

The midseason pickup Dubnyk shut out the young and fast Avalanche after Charlie Coyle's first period goal gave the Wild a 1-0 lead.

While Dubnyk's shutout is impressive, the Wild's defense may have played a larger part in the victory. Minnesota held Colorado to only 18 shots on goal.

With the win, the Wild improve to 25-20-6 and currently hold the 5th seed in the Western Conference.

Minnesota will look to continue the recent hot streak against the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow night at the Xcel Energy Center.
