Duane Alfred Kuether, age 85, of Taylors Falls, formerly of Princeton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1930 in Princeton, MN the son of Alfred and Hazel (Nelson) Kuether.

Duane graduated from Princeton High School. Duane proudly served in the United States Army. He was married to Mary Cobb in Blair, Nebraska. Duane worked as a Semi Truck Driver for over 45 years. He also owned and operated Lucky Buck white tail deer farm raising white tail deer, along with other exotic animals; most recently, goats. Duane loved wildlife, animals, deer hunting, fishing and his home.

Duane is survived by his wife, Mary of Taylors Falls; children, Brenda of North Branch, Gary (Krenda) and their children, Amber, Brittney and Brandon of Union Town, OH; Mary’s children Ray Storm and his 3 children, Nick Franzmeier and his two children, Kathleen Franzmeier and her two daughters, and Staice (Don) June and their two sons; his brother Dr. Gordon (Mary Jane) of Blair, NE; along with many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Joni Kuether, his parents, and special uncle and aunt, Art and Myrtle Shimming, along with other relatives.

A Celebration of Duane’s Life will begin at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, May 27 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held from 11-11:30AM prior to the service. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton.
