UNDATED - Most of central Minnesota has been added to the "abnormally dry" category, according to the latest map released today (Thursday) by the U.S. Drought Monitor.

Extreme eastern Benton and Sherburne Counties, and far northern Morrison and Todd Counties, are not at that point yet.

The map was released today, but the data was collected on Tuesday - prior to yesterday's (Wednesday) rainfall.
