Drug Testing Company Opens St. Cloud Location

ST. CLOUD -- The growing industry of drug testing has meant a boom in business for one central Minnesota company.

Mid-Minnesota Drug Testing Inc. has recently opened a new location in St. Cloud. The company also has locations in Little Falls and Brainerd.

Owner Gerri Burtyk says they work with county probation offices, social services and do pre-employment drug screens. They are also certified to drug screen for the Department of Transportation.

Burtyk says the growing popularity of hair follicle testing has helped boost her business too.  She says hair follicle testing can spot drug usage as far back as 90 days and is very reliable.  The hair follicle can't be "cleansed" with over the counter products designed to create clean urine samples.
