FOLEY - The Benton County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Sauk Rapids and Rice police departments  and the Drug Enforcement Administration, held a prescription drug take-back day last Saturday, April 28th.

The collection points in Foley, Sauk Rapids, and Rice gathered a total of 140 pounds of drugs for proper disposal.

Drug take back programs are designed to keep prescriptions out of the hands of those who might abuse them.
