Driver Flees Scene of Sherburne County Crash
BALDWIN TOWNSHIP - A driver fled the scene of crash that left four people injured in Sherburne County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened Friday around 3:15 p.m. on Highway 169 near milepost 177 in Baldwin Township.
Authorities say a car driven by 26-year-old Anthony Mccartney of Princeton was driving south on Highway 169 at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a car driven by 17-year-old Jaylin Raschke of Baudette.
Raschke and her passengers 37-year-old Carl Raschke of Baudette, 15-year-old Dalton Raschke of Baudette and 37-year-old Rachael Raschke of Baudette were taken to North Memorial in Princeton with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say Mccartney fled the crash on foot. Police determined that he had alcohol in his system at the time of the crash.
