MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Prosecutors have charged a drunken driving suspect with fleeing a Minnesota state trooper and crashing into another car in Minneapolis, killing one man and critically injuring another.

Thirty-four-year-old Yia Her of St. Paul was charged Wednesday with two felony counts of fleeing a peace officer resulting in injury or death.

According to the charges, Her was driving with a suspended license and had a blood-alcohol level twice Minnesota's legal limit.

The patrol says Her took off when the trooper pulled him over in downtown Minneapolis early Monday. Her then led the trooper on a three-minute chase before colliding with another car.

The other driver, 20-year-old Brody Sotona of Spring Valley, Wis., was killed. Reports says his passenger, 24-year-old Connor Macklin of Stillwater, is in critical condition Wednesday.
