Dream Comes True for Royalton Student Fighting Cancer [AUDIO]

ROYALTON -- A group of Royalton students have shown they will go to any length to help out a friend.

Last month Alexis "Lu Lu" Martinez was diagnosis with cancer for the second time.

Trying to lift her spirits, classmates and family have been trying to grant a special request for Lu Lu -- meet Miley Cyrus when she came to the Xcel Energy Center.

Classmate Jesse Popp says the plan took shape once he heard about the cancer returning.

Popp started a facebook page called "Luv for Lu Lu" to help spread the word throughout the community to make this happen.

After two weeks of none stop messages to Miley, Lu Lu's dream became reality at last nights (Monday) concert.

Martinez along with ten of her friends got to attend the meet and greet. Cyrus signed autographs and took pictures with them.

Popp says while she still has a long road ahead, it will be a memory Lu Lu will never forget.
