I talked with Dr. Darrin Spoden of Regional Diagnostic Radiology today about the importance of breast cancer screening and mammograms. Dr. Spoden said 40 is the age that doctors recommend that a women go in for a mammogram.  He also said for those where breast cancer runs in the family checking earlier than that would be a good idea.  Dr. Spoden said detecting breast cancer early is very important.  Listen to the conversation below.
