SARTELL - The cold didn't keep people away for the first Sartell Winter Farmers Market of the year. With nearly a dozen local businesses at the market, people had a wide variety of products to taste, touch, feel and smell.

Theresa Eichers owner of Eichers Hobby Farm makes several products ranging from goat cheese and meat to all natural preservative free soaps and lotions.

Eichers says preservative free lotions like hers have to handled with clean hands otherwise bacteria will start to grow in the lotion.

The Winter Farmers Market also caters to those that have a sweet tooth. Jessi Brinkman owner of Sweet Nature started making gluten free all natural treats as a way to help herself and others that want to eat healthier.

Brinkman's most popular treat is her Peanut Butter Popper. She says it's similar to a chocolate peanut butter cup.

The next Winter Farmers Market will be Saturday, February 20 at Sartell City Hall from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
