Wedin says about 15-20 bars will host their traditional early morning breakfast and drink specials.
The SCSU Football team does play a home game that day. They’ll be hosting Minnesota State – Mankato at 1:00 p.m.
Earlier this year St. Cloud State got rid of the traditional Homecoming event, and replaced it with a series of four “Celebrate! St. Cloud State” events. President Earl Potter has called the old Homecoming a tradition the University was not proud of. The first Celebrate! St. Cloud State event is scheduled for October 1st.
